Do you want to be part of a local campaign to push for big changes on the climate and ecological emergency (CEE)? Maybe you've written to your MP but felt let down by the response. Or maybe you're new to campaigning and interested in connecting up with others.

Getting the CEE Bill into law is crucial. the CEE Bill Alliance team is holding an online workshop on Wednesday, 12 May from 7pm to 8.30pm to help kickstart CEE Bill campaigns in eight Greater Manchester constituencies. This will be a good opportunity to find like-minded campaigners in your area - and then join forces to show these MPs that they have a mandate from their constituents to support this Bill. Along with engaging with your MP, activities could include getting your local council(s) on board, putting together an open letter signed by local organisations and individuals, or running a panel event.

Everyone is welcome - whether you are a ‘mover and shaker’ who can help organise the campaign or you'd prefer to take on specific tasks - or perhaps you're not yet sure and just want to find out more.

If you're coming along, please fill out the form on the right. You'll then receive a Zoom link by email.

The constituencies, which are all Conservative, are: Altrincham and Sale West/Sir Graham Brady; Bolton North East/Mark Logan; Bolton West/Chris Green; Bury North/James Daly; Cheadle/Mary Robinson; Hazel Grove/William Wragg; Heywood and Middleton/Chris Clarkson; Leigh/James Grundy

Looking forward to meeting you all.

Will you come?
