It is now nearly three years since the House of Commons declared an environment and climate emergency.
In this crucial year for our planet, and ahead of the UN biodiversity summit COP15, this summer, we are asking politicians to support a Nature and Climate Declaration.
The purpose of this Declaration is to demonstrate support for the UK to proceed further & faster in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and restoring our natural world. We are calling on members of the public and elected representatives across all parties and all layers of government, local, regional, national, including the Westminster Government - to add their names to the Declaration.
The Nature and Climate Declaration will be publicly launched in Parliament on the 10th May 2022, the third anniversary of Parliament's declaration of a climate emergency.
In this special campaigner share session, we will be introducing the Nature and Climate Declaration as a pan-UK multi-level political showing of support for a robust science-led and joined-up strategy for tacking the nature-climate crisis, as well as previewing the steps we'll be taking over the new few months in bringing the declaration to the fore amongst political leaders at all levels.

As always, if you have any questions, or would like to submit questions/ideas ahead of the session, please pop us an email at [email protected]
See you there
